Administrators may purchase renewed access to the ETSL for teachers after year 1. The more years of access purchased, the deeper the discount is per teacher. Administrators may choose 1-4 additional years. After that, contracts are up for renewal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Teachers can log on to the ETSL at this link.
In this case, teachers should email info@ebli.com for assistance.
Teachers will need student materials (click here to view) and books for students (click here to view). It is strongly encouraged that administrators assist teachers in getting these materials before starting the ETSL.
Timing of the ETSL depends on the grade they teach. 3rd Grade and 2nd Grade both contain 80 lessons, which translates to about 16-18 weeks. 1st Grade and Kindergarten have more lessons than 3rd/2nd Grade, so it should take them longer. Teachers of all grades should continue teaching EBLI by infusing it into their content area instruction once the ETSL lessons are complete.
This is not the end of the world! The ETSL contains lots of support for teachers as they’re learning. The first several lessons contain videos of Nora teaching the students so the teachers can observe, facilitate, and grow more familiar with the activities without having to teach yet. After that, teachers are gradually released to teaching the EBLI activities on their own. They have detailed written steps, review videos, and live support webinars to ensure that their questions get answered. Remind teachers: the best way to get better at EBLI is by teaching it!
Strong Administrator involvement and support is the key to continued success with the ETSL. Include ETSL updates/questions in staff meetings. Encourage Teacher Support Administrators to check in monthly and help work out any kinks. Connect teachers with EBLI (via email: info@ebli.com or phone: 810-732-4810) for support. Connect with EBLI yourself when you have questions. Remind teachers about the coaching webinars, and attend the webinars alongside them. (Tip: add the webinars to your calendar now!) Teachers will get out of the ETSL what they put into it, and the Teacher Support Administrator(s) can assist by keeping teachers in the loop about the available support resources.
